A Progressive Medical Center practitioner with a patient

Meet the staff who will discover the root causes of your condition and restore your body's balance. Progressive Medical Center is proud to be the most experienced major integrative and functional healthcare center in metro Atlanta. Our staff represents a diverse group of doctors and specialists, all united in their desire to focus on the patient rather than a rote system of diagnoses. Our team is led by respected MDs with deep experience who embrace functional medicine by taking a holistic viewpoint on health. Other practitioners who assist them include:

Chiropractors

A chiropractor is a healthcare professional who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine. Chiropractic treatment is primarily used as a pain relief alternative for muscles, joints, bones, and connective tissue such as cartilage, ligaments, and tendons.

Nutritionists and Dietitians

A nutritionist is a healthcare specialist in the food and nutrition field. They advise patients on the appropriate dietary plan based on their health conditions or concerns. A nutritionist focuses on helping patients maintain a healthy weight and improve conditions such as Crohn's disease, diabetes, and heart disease.

A dietitian is a qualified and regulated health professional who assesses, diagnoses, and treats dietary and nutritional problems at both the individual and wider public-health level. Dietitians blend scientific research, nutrition, behavioral science, and social science to promote health, prevent disease, and shape the dietary choices of both healthy and sick people.

Naturopathic Doctors

Naturopathic doctors are educated and trained in accredited naturopathic medical colleges. They diagnose, prevent, and treat acute and chronic illness to restore and establish optimal health by supporting the person's inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic medicine is an alternative medicine approach that emphasizes using natural medicine and a "whole person" approach to prevent, diagnose, and treat health conditions.

Naturopathic doctors focus primarily on addressing the underlying causes of illness and disease, rather than treating just the symptoms, to help promote wellness within the body and mind as a whole. They use a variety of natural treatments such as herbal medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling to help their patients achieve optimal health.

Estheticians

Estheticians, also called skin care therapists, specialize in cosmetic treatments of the skin. They are beauty and personal care professionals licensed to practice certain specialties. These professionals can provide cosmetic or clinical services to help their clients achieve a particular look or effect.
