For Patients
Health Coaching
Expert health coaching, wherever you are. For patients who have found Progressive Medical Center but cannot travel to Atlanta, Melissa Nohr's virtual program delivers our data-driven, integrative approach through comprehensive lab work, structured coaching, and personalized protocols.
Led by Melissa Nohr, BCIHP, Director of Health Coaching. Plans built on PMC's clinical framework.
What You Get
A Structured, Lab-Driven Coaching Program
Virtual health coaching at Progressive Medical Center is not generic wellness advice. The program is built on comprehensive lab work, six foundational health strategies, and ongoing one-on-one sessions with Melissa Nohr.
Your plan is informed by PMC's clinical framework. Melissa works alongside our medical team so your coaching protocol reflects the same integrative approach we use with patients in our Atlanta clinic.
Sleep Optimization
The foundation everything else is built on. Sleep quality, circadian rhythm, and recovery patterns are evaluated and addressed first.
Targeted Nutrition
Built from your lab results, food sensitivities, and metabolic profile. Not a generic meal plan.
Intentional Movement
Matched to your current capacity, energy levels, and health goals. Movement is prescribed like any other intervention.
Stress and Nervous System Support
Chronic stress disrupts sleep, hormones, digestion, and immune function. The program includes practical strategies for nervous-system regulation.
Cognitive Engagement
Mental clarity, focus, and cognitive resilience, addressed as part of the overall health picture.
Individualized Supplementation
Protocols are designed around your lab results and measured deficiencies, not trends or generalized recommendations.
A note on scope. Due to state licensing and compliance requirements, virtual coaching focuses on labs, supplementation, nutrition, and lifestyle strategy. It does not include medical diagnosis, prescriptions, or clinical therapies such as IV therapy, EBOO, or hyperbaric oxygen. Patients who need medical treatment are supported through our in-person care at the Atlanta clinic.
Your Health Coach
Melissa Nohr, BCIHP
Integrative Health Practitioner | Director of Health Coaching
Melissa Nohr is a board-certified integrative and holistic health practitioner specializing in personalized lifestyle and metabolic strategies that support whole-person health, resilience, and long-term vitality.
Before entering integrative health, Melissa practiced law as a litigation attorney for over a decade. That background informs her approach. Everything is structured, evidence-based, and built around informed decision-making. Each recommendation has a reason, each step has a milestone, and accountability is part of the program by design.
Melissa works alongside PMC's medical providers, so coaching plans reflect the same integrative framework our physicians use with in-clinic patients. Her mission is simple: build practical, sustainable systems that help patients feel stronger, clearer, and more resilient over time.

Is This the Right Fit?
Who the Program Is Built For
Coaching may be right for you if:
- You live outside Georgia and cannot travel to our Atlanta clinic on a regular basis.
- You feel fatigued, inflamed, or metabolically off but do not have a diagnosed condition that requires in-person medical treatment.
- You have tried diets, supplements, or programs without lasting results and want structured accountability.
- You are already under medical care and want expert coaching to help you implement lifestyle, nutrition, and supplementation changes alongside your existing treatment.
- You want a data-driven approach grounded in real lab work, not generic recommendations.
You may benefit more from in-person care if:
- You have an active complex condition (cancer, Lyme disease, autoimmune disease, advanced cognitive decline, advanced hormone imbalance) that needs hands-on medical treatment. Our Out-of-Town Patients program is built for exactly this situation.
- You live near Atlanta. The full clinical model, including advanced therapies, diagnostics, and in-person physician care, is almost always the stronger option. Call us and we will walk you through both paths.
Not sure which path is right? Call (770) 676-6000 and a team member will help you decide.
The Process
How the Program Works
Three steps from first contact to a structured coaching plan.
Schedule a Discovery Call
A focused conversation with Melissa to understand your goals, health history, and current challenges. Melissa will assess whether virtual coaching is the right fit. If your situation suggests in-person care would serve you better, she will tell you directly and connect you with our patient navigation team. The discovery call is a conversation, not a commitment.
Your Personalized Assessment
Based on the discovery call, Melissa orders comprehensive lab panels tailored to your situation. Lab kits are shipped to your home or you complete testing at a lab near you. Results are interpreted by Melissa alongside PMC's clinical framework.
Your Coaching Program Begins
You receive a structured, data-informed health plan with scheduled virtual coaching sessions, a supplement protocol, and ongoing accountability. Sessions are conducted by video call. Between sessions, you have secure messaging access for questions and progress updates.
Program pricing. Program pricing and tier options are discussed on your discovery call. Programs typically run two to four months with lab work, coaching sessions, and supplement support included. Call (770) 676-6000 or schedule a discovery call for current program details.
Common Questions
Common Questions
Do I need to be a Progressive Medical Center patient?
No. The coaching program is available independently. If you are already seeing another doctor, coaching can complement your existing care.
Is coaching available virtually?
Yes. All sessions are conducted by video call. Lab work is completed at home via shipped kits or at a lab near you. The program is designed for patients who cannot travel to Atlanta.
Is this only for weight loss?
No. Coaching supports metabolic health, energy, hormones, inflammation, stress, sleep, and longevity goals. Weight management may be part of your plan, but it is rarely the only focus.
How is this different from medical care?
Medical providers diagnose and treat conditions. Health coaching focuses on implementation: the daily habits, nutrition, and supplement protocols that support your health goals. Melissa works alongside PMC's medical team so your coaching plan aligns with clinical best practices, but coaching itself is not medical treatment.
What if I realize I need in-person care?
Melissa will tell you. If your discovery call or your lab results suggest you would benefit from hands-on medical treatment, she will connect you with our Out-of-Town Patients team so you can plan a visit to the Atlanta clinic.
What lab tests are included?
Lab panels are selected based on your situation. Programs typically include a comprehensive wellness panel, digestive stool analysis, dietary antigen testing, and adrenal function testing as a baseline, with additional panels (oxidative stress, intestinal barrier, heavy metals, cardiac risk) added when indicated.
How long is the program?
Programs typically run two to four months, with the specific duration determined on your discovery call based on your goals and the depth of support you need.
Do you accept insurance for health coaching?
No. Health coaching is paid directly rather than billed through insurance. Progressive Medical Center is out-of-network for all providers; see our Insurance & Financing page for details on submitting documentation for potential reimbursement, Cherry Financing, and CareCredit.
Ready to Take the First Step?
Schedule a discovery call with Melissa Nohr. She will discuss your goals, review whether coaching is the right fit for your situation, and walk you through the program that matches your needs. The discovery call is a conversation, not a commitment. No referral needed.
