For Healthcare Providers

A Trusted Referral Destination for Complex Chronic Cases

Progressive Medical Center partners with chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, and medical doctors across Atlanta and beyond, offering advanced diagnostics and therapies that most practices do not have access to.

Established in 1999. Multidisciplinary team of medical doctors, naturopathic physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and clinical specialists. Patients referred from across the country and around the world.

Referral Partnership

A Partner for the Cases That Need More

When your patient needs advanced integrative care beyond what your practice can offer, you need a referral destination you can trust. Progressive Medical Center has built its clinical depth since 1999 treating patients the conventional system had given up on: advanced cancer, autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, complex hormone disorders, Lyme disease, and the cases where standard protocols had run out of options.

Referrals are handled as partnerships, not handoffs. The relationship your patient has with you is preserved. You stay informed throughout evaluation and treatment, and your patient returns to you with their chronic concerns addressed and their trust in your clinical judgment reinforced.

Clinical Capabilities

Where Referrals Typically Come From

Advanced diagnostic testing is the foundation of every treatment plan. Standard blood chemistry is the starting point, not the endpoint. Over 1,000 biomarkers, functional lab work, hormone panels, food sensitivity testing, gut health testing, genetic testing, and metabolic evaluation identify the root drivers that standard panels miss. Treatment protocols are built around what testing reveals.

Integrative Oncology and Cancer Support

Comprehensive integrative cancer care, delivered alongside or after conventional oncology. Treatments include vitamin C IV, Poly MVA, NAD, glutathione, DCA, curcumin, and custom IV formulations; photodynamic therapy with Weber endolaser; hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT); exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT); hydrogen inhalation; hyperthermia; and nutrition and lifestyle integration. Greek Test and other advanced oncology diagnostics are available where indicated.

Alzheimer's and Cognitive Decline

The Apollo / Bredesen Program, led by Dr. Gena Mastrogianakis, applies the ReCODE protocol to patients at risk for or experiencing cognitive decline. Diagnostic pathway includes APOE genetic testing, comprehensive metabolic and inflammatory markers, and cognitive assessment. Treatment integrates biofeedback and brain mapping, functional neurology, peptide therapy, HBOT, and the full naturopathic toolkit.

Lyme Disease and Chronic Infections

Antimicrobial IV protocols, ozone and prolozone therapy, SOT therapy in partnership with RGCC (pending confirmation of active partnership), detoxification support, and individualized herbal antimicrobial protocols (Cat's Claw, Japanese Knotweed, Andrographis, Cryptolepis where indicated). Treatment plans are built around chronic infection presentation and concurrent immune dysfunction.

The full therapy menu (IV therapy, EBOO, regenerative medicine, peptide therapy, BHRT, detoxification, chiropractic, health coaching) is available to referred patients.

Patient Support

Referred Patients Are Handled Like Referred Patients

A dedicated patient navigator, led by Bertie Jones Morris, is assigned to every referred case. For out-of-town patients, the navigation team coordinates travel, accommodations, treatment scheduling, and family support so the patient arrives ready for their first visit and the referring provider is not pulled into logistics.

Expedited intake scheduling, clear communication back to the referring provider throughout treatment, and structured progress updates are the default. Patients referred from outside Atlanta are given the same continuity of care as local patients.

  • Dedicated patient navigator assigned to every referred case
  • Travel coordination for out-of-town patients (hotels, transportation, itinerary alignment)
  • Meal and nutrition support during extended treatment stays
  • Expedited scheduling for referred patients
  • Family and caregiver communication
Referral Process

Straightforward from Submission to Update

1

Submit a Referral or Discuss a Case

Use the referral form at the bottom of this page, or call the provider relations line at (770) 676-6000 to discuss a case before formally referring. The more clinical context you provide (medical history, current treatments, reason for referral), the better prepared the care team will be for the patient's first visit.

2

Care Coordination

The patient navigation team contacts your patient within one business day to schedule the initial consultation and gather intake information. For out-of-town patients, logistics are coordinated up front so treatment can begin immediately upon arrival in Atlanta.

3

Evaluation and Testing

Your patient meets with their assigned physician for a thorough evaluation. Advanced diagnostic testing goes beyond standard blood chemistry to identify root causes. Results are reviewed by a multidisciplinary team of MDs, NDs, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and clinical specialists.

4

Treatment and Updates

A personalized treatment plan is built around your patient's specific findings. Treatment begins, and regular progress updates are sent to you as the referring provider. Your patient's care stays connected, not siloed.

Our Commitment

We Support Your Patient. We Respect Your Practice.

Clear Communication

You receive structured updates on your patient's progress, test results, and treatment plan throughout care. The goal is to keep you informed enough to continue supporting your patient alongside the PMC team, not to replace your clinical relationship.

Relationship First

The relationship your patient has built with you is preserved. PMC is the specialist destination for the condition that triggered the referral, not the replacement for your ongoing care. Your patient returns to you with their chronic concerns addressed and their trust in your clinical judgment reinforced.

Coordinated Care

Every treatment plan takes your existing work into account. Where possible, treatment aligns with the approach you have already established with the patient. The care team communicates openly about how PMC's therapies integrate with what you are already doing.
