The Practitioner and Her Approach
From Division I Swimmer to Functional Medicine Nutrition
Dawn Reppuccii was a Division I competitive swimmer at the University of Connecticut, a school record holder, and a Senior Scholar Athlete Award recipient. Her undergraduate work paired exercise science with nutritional science, giving her an early foundation in how the body responds to training, recovery, and fuel.
After college she completed a dietetic internship through Georgia State University that covered clinical nutrition, community nutrition, renal nutrition, geriatric nutrition, research, food service, home health care, and sports nutrition. That breadth of training moved her well beyond standard nutrition counseling and into the clinical territory her role at PMC would require.
Dawn has been the registered dietitian at Progressive Medical Center since March 2000, making her one of the longest-tenured members of the team. She maintains active memberships in the American Dietetic Association, the Georgia Dietetic Association, the Greater Atlanta Dietetic Association, and Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN), the dietetic practice group for performance and cardiovascular nutrition.

Looking for a nutrition plan built on your lab work rather than a generic template? Call to talk with PMC's care team about a consultation with Dawn.
How It Works
Your Nutrition Consultation with Dawn
Working with Dawn begins with data. Your PMC physician orders targeted diagnostic testing (food sensitivity panels, metabolic markers, and nutrient levels) and Dawn uses those results to build a plan around your specific biochemistry rather than a generic framework.
During your consultation, Dawn walks through your lab results, explains what they mean, and shapes a plan that fits alongside the rest of your PMC care. Her recommendations may coordinate with weight loss goals, detoxification protocols, or condition-specific treatment strategies being led by your physician.
Because Dawn has worked alongside PMC's physicians since 2000, she is accustomed to coordinating nutrition recommendations with the other treatments and therapies you may be receiving. Nutrition is one piece of a larger care plan, and her role is to make sure that piece fits.
