The Path to Brain Health
From Loss to Prevention
Before healthcare, Mike built a career in brand management and sales leadership at Procter & Gamble, followed by leadership roles in multiple technology ventures.
His path to this work is deeply personal. Alzheimer's claimed the lives of both his mother and his grandmother. That family experience drove him to study the causes and treatments of neurodegenerative disease, and his research led him to the work of Dr. Dale E. Bredesen at Apollo Health.
In 2023, Mike joined Progressive Medical Center as Program Director for the Brain Health Protocol. He and Progressive now collaborate with Apollo Health to deliver the Bredesen Protocol to patients across metro Atlanta and the Southeast. His mission is to make these treatments available to the patients who need them, and he oversees the day-to-day operations of the program.
Mike is active in the Men's Group at North Point Community Church and supports several charitable organizations. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, hiking, and working out, and most of all cherishes time with his three children and three grandchildren.

How the Program Works
What the Brain Health Program Looks Like
The Apollo/Bredesen program is not one-size-fits-all. The team offers two distinct pathways depending on where you are in your cognitive health journey.
ReCODE (Reversal): For patients experiencing measurable cognitive decline, including memory problems, difficulty focusing, or early diagnostic findings related to memory loss and Alzheimer's. The protocol combines targeted nutrition and supplementation, cognitive engagement, sleep optimization, and therapeutic interventions to address the factors that contribute to cognitive decline.
PreCODE (Prevention): For patients at genetic or family risk, such as those with APOE4 markers, a family history of dementia, or midlife concerns about brain health. PreCODE focuses on prevention before symptoms appear, using the same evidence-based protocols adapted for healthy brains.
Both pathways begin with comprehensive diagnostic testing, including cognitive assessments, biomarker panels, and genetic risk evaluation where appropriate. Your treatment plan is built on the results and tailored to your individual biology and risk profile. Progress is tracked through ongoing assessments over the course of the program.
